This
bench is totally manufactured by cast iron and surface hardened
steel. It consists of a base with two sliding turrets: one with
stationary center (1) and one with mobile center (2). Turrets
can be very easily clamped by a lever (3) with eccentric. The
mobile center turret has possibility of a fast lever operated
tailstock movement (4) or a slow movement by means of the adjustment
knob (5), which is suitable for pieces exceeding 25 Kgs. Before
to use the slow movement system one must to stall the
fast lever movement system using the locking device (6).
The
two bases (7) holding dial gauges are particularly suited to
check the straightness tolerance of the pieces by means of their
sliding over the base of the whole equipment . This unit is
particularly useful for testing purposes thanks to his high
degree of accuracy and the simple handling. Upon request, special
applications or special versions can be supplied.
