TYPE SB 200 DOUBLE GAIN SLIDING CARRIAGE VICE

This unique vice model was developed to overcome facing and grinding problems of workpieces, which would vibrate under stresses if worked on a standard vice. This is achieved since it is possible to stirrup the vice on both sides, which are square-ground and fitted with stirrup slots. The fixed jaw bears a ground key with 2 threaded holes for fastening any service equipment. Its technical characteristics are: normalized G30 cast iron bed plate and hardened stirrup plates; the remaining parts are of hardened stirrup plates; the remaining parts are of hardened and casehardened steel. It is pointed out that the SB 200 vice can normally work on plane either with or without swivelling base, or being stirred up at 90° without exceeding standard dimensions of normal vices.
