Absolutely
necessary to clamp cylindrical pieces on drills, milling machines,
boring machines, facers. The two interconnected jaws block the work-piece,
whick is self-centered onto the prismatic base, thus granting a
constant reproducibility of the position; a sliding ledge permits
to also obtain a good reproducibility of the axial position.
The two orthogonal resting surfaces permit to use the vice both
on horizontal and vertical machines.
The vice is made from stabilized high-resistance cast-iron; the
jaws and the prismatic base are made from hardened and rectified
steel.
The vice is supplied with: blocks, fixing screws, wrench.
