| The MU/100 all purpose joint in the light of its
characteristics of strength and precision, as well as of its very
low overall height, solves any problem relating to drilling, milling,
and grinding tilted pieces. The vice has a 105 mm. opening. The
bed plate is of iron and the remaining parts ar of hardened casehardened
steel. Upon request it is possible to fit a 125 dia. chuck with
appropriate fastening flange in lieu of the vice. The cylinder
is very easy to disassemble for any cleaning of oxides due to
cooling fluids. The lower bed plate has a 12 mm 7 h. cross-slit
as reference for the paralelism between machine and vice, when
division are on 0 position. |
